Ben Stein on Facilitation Skills

This guy’s my favorite “combo plate.” He’s a self-proclaimed lawyer, writer, actor, and… economist! Here’s what he has to say about face-to-face meetings:

“Could Congress really do its work if it held its sessions by teleconferencing? Could the Supreme Court? Nothing can replace the spark of intelligence that travels from person to person at meetings.”

I discover over and over again that good facilitation skillsunderlie all effective meetings, whether in-person or electronic. Do you agree? Tweet me your response!
